煤基富勒烯的制备研究

摘    要:以 1 4种国产煤为原料 ,用电弧等离子体蒸发法制备富勒烯 .富勒烯产品的表征采用质谱、紫外光谱、红外光谱及高压液相色谱技术 .考察了煤样的基础性质对富勒烯产率的影响 .结果表明 ,由实验所用煤种均可制得富勒烯 ;原料煤本身的化学结构和组成影响富勒烯的产率和分布 ;由某些煤得到的富勒烯中 ,C70 的含量较之以石墨电极为原料时的含量要高得多 .

Abstract:Fullerenes have been prepared from 14 typical Chinese coals by arc plasma evaporation in helium. The purpose of this work is to identify inexpensive sources of carbon to substitute high purity graphite used commonly for fullerene synthesis. The results show that it is possible to prepare fullerenes from Chinese coals, and the yields and the components of fullerenes are related to the properties of raw coals. Because coal contains weak covalent bonds linking macromolecular, large fragments other than C 1 and C 2 units can exist in the arc plasma. This implies that large fragments may play an important part in forming fullerenes. Meanwhile the C 70 content in the crude fullerenes from coals is higher compared with that from high purity graphite under the identical experiment conditions, which may be attributed to the unique chemical structure of coal derived carbons. The fullerene yields from some de ashed coals are comparable to that obtained from graphite under similar experimental conditions.
