摘    要:综述了海洋蓝细菌(聚球菌属,Synechococcus)的生态学意义和国际上研究海洋蓝细菌的方法和技术, 以及我国研究海洋蓝细菌的现状和我们的一些研究工作。

Abstract:Synechcoccus has been thought to be a significant contributor in the primary producition in the ocean. It has a vital significance to the stability and the diversity of the marine ecosystem. Due to its large biomass, rapid circulation rate and the high energy conversion efficiency, more and more attention has been attracted to the study of Synechococcus. This review focuses on recent research developments on the ecologically significant cyanobacteria group-Snyechococcus, including the world-wide distribution pattern, their abundance, grazing pressure from microzooplankton. The techniques that have been widely used in this area are also introduced.
