| Abstract: | Lu Merchants were an important branch of Shanxi Merchants.Lu Merchants in the Ming Dynasty were best known for the silk industry in such counties as Changzhi,Luzhou,Gaoping,Qinshui and Yangcheng etc.The Ming Government established "the Textile Bureau" in Luzhou,which were supervising and taking charge of the activities such as the production,allocation,transportation and tribute payment of Lu silk,so and so on. |
