| Abstract: | This paper discusses the fuzzy logic inference and syllogism in natural language processing, Described in the paper is the following new approach: The meaning of a lexical imprecise proposition is first presented as an elastic constraint on a valiable, and then the answer to a query is deduced through a propagation of elastic constraint.The paper also provides the reader with a survey of the applications of language variables in fuzzy control and of the latest development of the fuzzy hardware and fuzzy computers. |
