| Abstract: | The paper reviews the new development in the ruthenium(II)bibyridine complexes and their derivatives. Progress in ruthenium chemistry are presented in view of light sensitizer, electrochemiluminescence, polynuclear complexes, supramolecular complexes, metal polymer and nonlinear optical materials. |
