高速网络中基于AIMD的HSTCP拥塞控制算法的改进

摘    要:HSTCP(高速传输控制协议)是高速网络中基于AIMD(加性增长和乘性减少)的一种新的拥塞控制算法,它能在高速度和大时延的网络中更有效地提高网络的吞吐率。文中针对HSTCP算法在公平性方面的缺陷对该算法提出了改进意见,改进算法通过引进参考因子r来动态预测拥塞的发生并调节窗口的增长方式,使窗口增长方式在TCP Reno模式和标准的HSTCP的方式之间切换。模拟结果表明HSTCP的改进方案对HSTCP流和TCP Reno流共存时的公平性有明显的改善。

Abstract:High speed transfer control protocol(HSTCP) is a newly developed congestion control algorithm based on AIMD in high speed network.HSTCP can enhance the total throughput greatly especially in high-speed and large-delay networks.Despite of its advantages in throughput,HSTCP performs worse in fairness than TCP Reno.We will use a reference factor to solve this issue and verify the improvement via simulation.
