| 摘 要： | 小说《白鲸》以现实主义、科学主义与象征主义结合的艺术手法真实地再现了当时美国捕鲸业、捕鲸船、捕鲸人与捕鲸文化的真实情况,流露出明显的"人类中心主义"的倾向。但却通过象征主义手法以及人鱼双亡的凄惨描写,营造出浓浓的悲剧气氛,给人类如何对待自然以深刻的启示。

| Abstract: | The novel White Whale,with the artistic technique combining realism,scientism,and symbolism,reproduces the real situation of whaling industry,whaling ships,whalers,and whaling culture in America at that time,which outpours the obvious trend of "being human-centered".However,with the technique of symbolism and by describing the tragic death of whales and men,it creates strong tragic atmosphere and gives in-depth implication about how human beings should treat nature. |
