清末民初美南浸信会在广西的传教活动

广西省是基督新教在中国进入最晚、布道区最少的省份之一,清末民初才有基督新教大规模进入广西。此前,广西境内天主教活动得较为频繁,是法国天主教巴黎外方传教会传教士主要的传教地。基督教在广西广泛开展的传教活动对广西的社会生活产生了很大影响,其传播的历史是广西近代城市发展史的一个重要组成部分,颇值得研究。

Guangxi is one of the provinces where Baptism arrived the latest and spread the least widely. Baptism was spread to Guangxi in a large scale as late as the turn of the 20th century, prior to which Catholicism was very active in Guangxi. The spread of Christianity had great influence on the social life of Guangxi, and the history of Christianity spreading is an important component in the modern history of urban development of Guangxi, hence of great research value.
