| Abstract: | Based on the generalized difference method, a generalized difference scheme for one dimensional parabolic partial differential equations are given. The present paper deals with the consistency, stability and convergence of the scheme, and compares it with classical finite difference scheme, compact finit difference scheme. Also, it provides a numerical example to verify the theoretic result. |
