本文报导了采自山西的苔藓植物13科、23属、30种及1变种。其中29种及1变种是山西省的新记录。

A Preliminary Study on the Bryophytes in Shanxi Province, North China

Shanxi Province is located in North China with many famous mountains. In the summers of 1916 and 1917, Pere Licent collected specimens of the bryophyte from the south of the province. These specimens were sent to H. N. Dixon for identification, and 14 species and 1 varietyfrom Shanxi were included in the bryophyte list appearing in vo lume one of the "Revue Bryologique" published in 1928. Almost twenty years later, M. Sato, K. Sakura and S. Hottori reported the second bryophyte list of Shanxi, in which 15 families, 27 genera and 31 species were included.From June to August in 1985, two of the authors, Ling and Xie investigated several mountain areas in Shanxi and collected more then 80 specimens of bryophytes falling into 6 families, 20 genera and 30 specieswhich are all newly recorded in this province. Up to now, the total recorded bryophytes in Shanxi have amounted to 15 families, 33 genera, 43 species and 2 varieties.
