当代中国的社会经济高速发展，但在经济发展的背后产生了一系列问题，如贫富差距的加大，人口与环境问题的积累以及弱势群体的增加等。这些问题对构建社会主义和谐社会产生了不利影响，需要大力发展慈善事业作为政府社会保障制度的补充。本文通过探讨历史上宗教慈善事业的发展与贡献，分析当代中国宗教慈善事业发展的现状，探索我国宗教事业对构建社会主义和谐社会的积极贡献。

On the Contribution of Religious Charity Cause to Building a Socialist Harmonious Society

Contemporary China＇ s society and economy has been developing rapidly, but behind the economic development, there arise a series of issues, such as the widening of the gap between the rich and the poor, the population and environmental issue, as well as an increase of vulnerable groups. These issues have a negative impact on building a socialist harmonious society, so there is a need to vigorously develop charity as a supplement to the government social security system. This paper discusses the development and the contribution of religious charity in history, analyses the current state of religious charity development in contemporary China, and explores the positive contribution of China＇ s religious cause to the building of a socialist harmonious society.
