ON THE SUPPORTING ENVIRONMENT FOR CODE DEVELOPMENT OF RPC APPLICATION

Abstract:Developing distributed application is very complex work. Many design considerations, such as architectural model, computing environment, program partition and distributed process coordination generally not encountered in centralized applications, must be decided cautiously. The major work in this area is to develop computing environments. In such computing environment as RPC and CORBA, the code development style for distributed application is quite different from the conventional approach, lea ding the cost increase for distributed application development. This paper presents an RPC application development paradigm, with an aim to ease the tasks of code development. The environment supporting like a paradigm can be established on the basis of an RPC system together with building a preprocessor in the procedural language compiler.
