| Abstract: | Nowadays the retaining structure has deveioped from the traditional gravity retaining wall into a variety of light structures,and the buttressed retaining wall is one of the most common light structures. The anchoring buttressed retaining wall, a new type of composite structure which is different from the buttressed retaining wall,is devised. Combined with actual projects,the design theory and construction method were summarized. The new-type structure has achieved the optimum combination of applicability and economic benefits,having a broad range of engineering applications. |
