Risk evaluation is the basis of acquisition management for weapons and equipments.Based on the total analyzing and summarizing risk matrix widely used abroad,the adaptability of the risk matrix method is improved,which is caused by its shortcoming and the practicality and need of risk evaluation for weapons and equipments in our country.In addition to this,the paper demonstrates risk evaluation of a certain type of weapon and equipment as a case study by using the improved risk matrix method,thus lays a basis for the scientific and rational acquisition risk management decision making for weapons and equipments.
