刘勰人定林寺依僧佑原因新探

青年时期的刘勰曾入定林寺依僧祜十余年，原因何在，现众说纷纭。代表性观点有“家贫说”和“信佛说”，也有学者认为刘勰入寺是欲借僧祜的关系结识权贵以求仕进。但这些说法都遭人质疑。结合《文心雕龙》表现的思想和当时社会的实际情况来看，刘勰入寺的主要目的，应是借寺庙良好的环境，积累才学以求仕进，并留名后世。

Studying on Reasons of LIU Xie Rely on Sengyou in Dinglinsi

There are many different versions about the reason why LIU Xie relied on Sengyou and lived in Din- glinsi more than ten years when he was young. Most of scholars think it is because of his family＇ s poverty and his belief in Buddhism. Some others think the reason is that LIU Xie wanted to get acquainted with dignitaries and seek officialdom by SengYou. These views are being questioned. Combining the thought of Wenxin diaolong and the ac- tual social situation at that time, we will find that the main purpose of LIU Xie living in Dinglinsi is that he wanted to accumulate konwledges in order to enter the authority and remain a good reputation in offspring by taking advan- tage of the good condition of the temple.
