局部网络操作系统的设计实现

本文对局部网络高层软件进行研究设计,提出了局部网络操作系统(LANOS)的设计思想和设计观点,在单用户、单任务操作系统支持的联网站点上配置了实时通信和开放性文件系统;并以此为核心,编制了网络管理软件和应用程序.使各联网络点通过LANOS作为媒介,能够适合网络环境下的操作,为分布式处理、分布式数据库在局部网络上的实现提供了工具和手段.

THE DESIGN AND IMPLEMENTATION FOR LANOS

The aim of this paper is to present the results of researching on the Local Ares Network Operating Systems(LANOS). The requirements of a LANOS are outlined,the principles and architecture used in the system are explained. The OMNINET LAN, especially the transporter, are analysed. The main points of designing LANOS is proposed, that is, the LANOS provides an interface between the network operations and the host operating system, An important feature of this design is that the great majority of application software and utilities written in the environment of the host operating system can still be used with the LANOS. An open file system and the realtime point to point communications on the present single-user and singletasking operating system have been implemented. The primitives are designed such that they can be become a kernal of the LANOS. Consideration is also given to the transplant and the compatibility of the software.
