| Abstract: | A simmplified dynamic analysis method is suggested for the dam-water-foundation system. Earthquake input includes acceleration amplitude,response spectrum and time of duration.The statis- tic characteristic of the earthquake load is determined by using an equivalent stationary approximate cumulative distribution of the maximum respomse to non-stationary random excitation for the linear SDOF system.Then the reliability for seismic design of concrete gravity dams is computed. |
