地理信息系统在土木工程中的应用

摘    要:地理信息系统(GIS)是一门集计算机科学、信息学、地理学等多门科学为一体的新兴学科,由于其能快速、方便管理海量数据的特点,已被广泛应用于资源开发、环境保护、城市规划建设和灾害监测与评估等领域.本文在介绍地理信息系统基本功能的基础上,重点介绍了其在土木工程中的应用,包括施工管理、安全监测和震害预测等方面,以及应用中存在和需要解决的一些问题.

Application of geographic information system in civil engineering
Abstract:Geographic Information System(GIS) is a newly arisen subject integrating many sciences including the computer science, informatics, geography and etc. It has been used widely in many fields such as resource developments, environmental protection, city planning development and disaster monitoring and valuation since it can manage enormous data conveniently and quickly. This text is based on the introduction of basic function of Geographic Information System, and focus on the application of GIS in civil engineering, including construction management, safety monitoring and disaster prediction of earthquake. This arcticle also disscusses some problems that need to be resolved in the application of GIS. Finally, this text gives the prediction of the development trend of Geography Information System in civil engineering.
