Comparative Study of Dormant Physiology to Several Potted Lotuses between the End of Autumn and the Early of Winter

The acquisition and physiological index measurement of subterranean stem to winter lotus(’Xuelihong’ and ’Aoshuang’) and ’Hongxiamantian’ was determined at different periods of the end of autumn and the early of winter.The result indicated that the activity of POD and PPO,and the content of soluble protein,soluble sugar and Pro were rised;At the same time,as to different cultivars,the difference of the activity of POD and PPO,and the content of Pro and soluble protein was highly significant,the size-relationship of the activity of POD and the content of Pro was that ’Hongxiamantian’ was bigger than ’Xuelihong’,and ’Aoshuang’ was the smallest,and the activity of PPO of ’Hongxiamantian’was the largest at the first two periods,and ’Aoshuang’ was the smallest,at the last two periods,’Xuelihong’ was the biggest,and the smallest was ’Hongxiamantian’,the size-relationship of soluble protein content was that’Xuelihong’ was the biggest,and the smallest was ’Hongxiamantian’;The difference of soluble sugar content among different cultivars was significant,the difference of the last three times between winter lotus and ’Hongxiamantian’ was highly significant,and the size-relationship of soluble sugar content was that,at the first two periods,’Hongxiamantian’ was the biggest,and ’Xuelihong’ was the smallest,at the last two periods,’Aoshuang’ was the biggest,and ’Hongxiamantian’ was the smallest.
