| Abstract: | By defining the distance of employment structure and ideal structure,this paper builds a model to measure the convergence rate of Chinese employment structure.The convergence rate can better reflect the resistance when employment structure approaches ideal structure and the measuring results is in line with the facts.The average annual convergence rate is 1.24 during 1978—2008 and the gap between employment structure and ideal structure is still as high as 38.53 in 2008.We need to further promote the labour flow among different industrial and accelerate convergence rate toward ideal structure. |
