| Abstract: | The Chinese pine caterpillar is a leaf- eating insect that is d an ger to the Chinese pine. This paper briefly expounds the life habit of the cater pillar of Chinese pine and, taking the plane prevention of the Chinese pine cate rpillar conducted in Taiyuan Forestry Center as the example, introduces the conc rete methods and procedures of the plane prevention, emphasizing on the applying situation and prevention result the Mieyouniao (an insect killer) in the plane prevention of Chinese pine caterpillar. |
