商标词翻译中的语用等效原则

摘    要:商标是企业宣传和推销产品的利器。由于商标词具有特定的语用功能,语用等效原则最适宜作为商标翻译的指导性原则。根据此原则,在商标翻译实践中,可采用一切行之有效的翻译方法以实现“音、形、意”美的完美统一。

Abstract:Brand names can help enterprises to publicize their company identity and better sell their commodities. Based on an analysis of the pragmatic functions of brand names, the present paper proposes the principle of pragmatic equivalent effect as the guideline for the translation of brand names, under which the perfect combination of beauty of form and meaning can be achieved.
