The economy of Dali Kingdom in archeological perspective

With a large number of historical relics unearthed,we have obtained not only evidence of historical data concerning the socio-economic development of ancient Yunnan during the Dali Kingdom period,but also a great deal of archeological materials as evidence.Viewed from the archaeological findings,during the period of Dali Kingdom,the economic development,agriculture,handicraft,commerce,foreign trade and other aspects have made further progress and improvements on the basis of Nanzhao period.In the inland areas such as Erhai Lake,Dianchi Lake,they even caught up with the technological level,even surpassed the Central Plains region in terms of the level of development,and therefore demonstrated the ancient Yunnan people's wisdom and creation ability.
