| Abstract: | Differentiation and development of the hypostase were observed inRheum palmabum L..Its cell components were proved to be celluloseand pectin by mean of histochemical methods.The hypostase of Rheumpalmatum L.may possibly have two functions,mechanical barrier andsupply of water and other materials. |
