陕西古农书大略

陕西古农书在我国农业遗产宝库中占有光彩夺目的地位,见诸古籍目录者约37种,现存28种。内容丰富,体裁多样,既有大全式整体农书,也有分门别类的专业农书.包含耕桑树畜各部门生产技术知识,具有传统经验农学的理论体系。本文在廓清历代官私书目基础上,分五个历史阶段,系统评述了陕西古农书起始、发展及最终被现代农业科学取代的历史过程,全面展示了陕西古代农业科学的光辉成就。

A General Survey of Shaanxi Ancient Books on Agriculture

Ancient farming books of Shaanxi occupy a brilliant place in the agricultural heritage of China. As many as 37 kinds of them, among which 28 kinds are extant, can be found in the library catalogue of ancient books. With a great variety of both contents and forms, by either providing a panoramic view or dealing with some specific aspects, these books present a theoratical system of the traditional agriculture based on expenience, including all the knowledge of techniques of production, ranging from cultivation and sericulture to planting and animal husbandry. Reviewing the catalogues made both officially and personally in the past dynasties, and reviewing the books in five historical periods, this article systematically discusses how ancient agricultural books were originated, developed and finally replaced by modern agricultural science, and presents a overall picture of the glorious achievements of ancient agriculture in Shaanxi.
