The Nonunique Fixed Point Theorems for a Class of Mappings in Probabilistic Metric Spaces

The purpose of this study is to study the existence of fixed points for a new class of Ciric-Altman type mappings in non-Archimedean probabilistic metric spaces. The new nonunique fixed point theorems are established under certain conditions. As a special case, the existence theorems of fixed points were obtained for Ciric-Altman type mappings in metric spaces. Finally, the fixed points of Ciric-Altman type mappings were discussed in two non-Archimedes probabilistic metric spaces. Therefore, the existence theorem obtained extends and improves the corresponding results in the existing literature to a great extent.
