| 摘 要： | 生活在不同文化背景下的人们,由于不同的思维方式和价值观念,在交往过程中难免会产生矛盾。本文以此为切入点,借助爱德华.霍尔关于高背景文化和低背景文化的研究成果,对大量存在于《喜福会》中的文化隔阂和冲突现象进行解析。事实说明,不同文化间的交往需要相互尊重和理解。爱和真诚永远是沟通心灵的桥梁、连接世界的纽带,是全世界不同文化背景下人们的共同心声。

| Abstract: | People under different cultural background usually have different values and ways of thinking.Thus problems will arise when they communicate with each other.This paper intends to analyze the communication problems in The Joy Luck Club by using Edward Hall's theory on high-context and low-context cultures.It also declares communication between different cultures needs mutual respect and understanding.Anyway,love and sincerity are the bridges and bonds to connect the world. |
