西方学者关于近代早期英国私人生活述评

私人生活史在西方兴起于20世纪80年代,之后逐渐受到学者们的重视。目前虽然尚无学者专门研究近代早期英国私人生活史,但是很多西方学者在研究近代早期英国的社会问题时,都涉及了私人生活史的内容。归纳起来,西方学者的研究主要集中在以下六个方面:婚姻与家庭、两性关系、个人财产权利与继承、社会交往与流动、宗教与文化生活和私人休闲生活。

A Review of Western Scholars on Private Life in England in Early Modern Time

The study on the history of private life appeared in Western Europe in 1980s and it has been drawn attention to by Western scholars since then.Though there has no monograph on the history of private life in England in early modern time,many scholars have touched on many parts of it.Summarily,Western scholars mainly focused on six aspects:marriage and family,bisexual relationship,individual property and inheritance,social communication and mobility,religious and cultural life,and private leisure life.
