| 摘 要： | 英语辞格矛盾修饰是运用词汇手段来达到一种看似矛盾 ,实则统一的修辞效果的方式。它揭示了事物对立统一的本质特征。汉语中与其相似的修饰手法是对顶。本文论述了矛盾修饰的定义 ,常见结构及运用矛盾修饰可以受到的修辞效果及其与汉语对顶的比较

| Abstract: | Oxymoron, one of English rhetorical derices, could achieve the effect of contradiction in surface, unity in fact by means of vocabulary. It reveals nature of everything. In Chinese, a similar rhetoric is dui-ding. This paper discusses the differences between oxymoron and duiding as well as its definition,structure and the rhetorical effect by using it. |
