Abstract:A stratified calculating method is used to simulate the fiber orientation of short fiber reinforced plastics of medium concentration during injection mold filling with the Dinh model based on the Hele Shaw flow. In the calculation of fiber orientation, a superposition method is proposed, by which the overall orientation in the cross section of the product is described by the orientation in each layer.
