Abstract:One novel multi-mode transceiver structure based on software defined radio(SDR) has been put forward in this paper. Multi-rate signal processing and polyphase filtering technique are both applied in the design of the transceiver. Simplified FFT butterfly algorithm has been adopted in the polyphase filter design as well. The conclusions are drawn that BER performance can be improved to some extent by adopting the system based on SDR proposed in this paper. Especially, it has obvious advantages at low SNR.
