| Abstract: | Taking use of the factorization of the subdivision operators in l p spaces, the necessary and sufficient conditions of the contractivity of the subdivision operators is obtained. Then make use of the contractivity of the subdivision operators charactorize the convergence of the subdivision schemes. At last the commutativity of the subdivision operator in l p spaces is studied. |
