| Abstract: | The requirements on testing are changing.To widen the application area of TTCN beyond pure OSI conformance testing,the European Telecommunications Standards Institute completely redesigned the entire test specification language TTCN and published a new test specification language:TTCN 3.TTCN 3 is a complete new testing language built from a textual core notation on which a number of different presentation formats such as TTCN or MSC are possible.This paper gives an overview of the main concepts of TTCN 3,researches the test configuration and the usage of test method in TTCN 3,gives an example of its application when using asynchronous communication between MTC and SUT. |
