| Abstract: | On the basis of analyzing the assembly characteristic or single seam spherical plain bearings, many kinds of strengthening and toughening treatment processes were used for quenching of bearing outer rings. Test showed that the low temperature quenching process may cause the outer rings to have excellent and stable strength, toughness and wear-resist- ance. The strengthening and toughening structure, as well as the relation between the struc- ture and material mechanical property are also analyzed. |
