摘    要:研究了以酚醛树脂作结合剂的MgO-A1和MgO-Fe两个体系的烧成合金的亚微形态和机械强度的关系,考察了体系在高温下、在还原性气氛中发生的反应对形态和机械强度的影响。

Abstract:Morphology and mechanical strength of MgO-Al and MgO-Fe mixtures with phenolic resin as adhesive have been studied. Samples were made through dies and then heat-treated. In revealing chemical reactions in the systems, which occur under the condition of high temperature and reductive atmosphere, the X-ray diffraction analysis and SEM methods were used. It is believed that the destruction mechanism of MgO-C bricks at high temperatures comes from the oxidation of graphite. Some additives, such as Al, proved quite effective in strengthening the oxidation prevention behavior of MgO-C system. However, as some researchers pointed out, Al might react directly with MgO in vacuum at high temperatures, which is destructive to the strength of MgO-C bricks. This has been verified by one of the results of the paper.
