戴维森隐喻含意解读及评价

隐喻研究经历了作为修辞现象到语言隐喻（语义隐喻和语用隐喻）,再到对此进行多层次、多角度的跨学科研究的发展历程。对戴维森的《隐喻的含义》一文中提出的观点进行了梳理,将之概括为五个方面：隐喻的不可释义性、隐喻的不真实性、隐喻的语用性、隐喻的生动性及隐喻解释的相对性,并逐一对此进行了解读和评价。

Interpretation and Comments on Davison's Understanding of Metaphors' Meaning

Research on metaphor has covered a long way from a rhetoric phenomenon to linguistic metaphor（semantic metaphor and pragmatic metaphor）,and then into the cross-disciplinary research on different layers and from different angles.This paper aims at summarizing Davison＇s opinions towards metaphor in his paper What Metaphors Mean and five typical characteristics of metaphor were generalized.That is,metaphor is unparaphrasable,untrue,pragmatic,vivid and relative of its understanding.In the end interpretation and comments are given to each of them accordingly.
