| Abstract: | It is self-evident that background knowledge is important in advanced English teaching. Successful application of background knowledge in advanced English teaching can directly improve the teaching effect of advanced English. From a pragmatic perspective, this paper explores the approaches to combining background knowledge with advanced English teaching. Those combinations will stimulate students＇ passion for learning and be helpful for them to form good learning ability and habit. |
