| 摘 要： | 本文应用有效折射率法和WKB法导出了三角形截面介质光波导的近似模方程,其特点是形式简单,计算方便。通过对正三角形截面介质光波导传输特性的实算可见,其计算结果与有限元法的数值分析结果相近。

| Abstract: | By using both the effective refraction index method and the WKB theory, the approximate mode equation of the dielectric waveguide with triangular cross-section is derived for the convenient and rapid calculation of the mode propagation constant or effective index. The computations for the equilateral triangle waveguide show that the computed results based on this mode equation are close to the numerical results of the finite element technique. |
