| Abstract: | The expert system of composite material design mainly contains a general inference engine, a set of knowledge bases and algorithm bases, various data-bases and several function models which are composite material design model, layered components design model and normal components design model. This system can simulate a human expert to make a design scheme for FRP composite material, layered components and normal components. It can also predict the FRP material properties and make strength analyses according to the Micro and Macro Mechanics of Composite Material. The approach to these models are introduced in this paper. |
