高校排名刍议

对高校进行排名有它的正面效应，如能推动高校不断提高办学水平、给考生提供参考依据、有利于政府科学地投资等，但从目前我国出现的几种高校排名方式看，排名方法有待商榷，建议今后的高校排名指标设计应合理、科学，并能分类别、分层次进行排名，使排名既真实反映各高校的实力，又使不同类型的高校之间具有可比性，促进我国高等教育的发展。

A Study on University Ranking

University ranking has its positive effect, which helps improve its efficiency and quality, and provides an impersonal reference standards to students,and also helps the government to invest reasonably. Although university tanking embraces so many advantages, it still remains much to discuss. From the perspective of several methods of university ranking at present, it is suggested that the following aspects should be revised: first, the index of college ranking should be designed more reasonabley and scientically; secondly, it will reflect the actual strength of every college correctly and if university ranking is sorted by type and class, show the comparability between different universities and promote our higher education.
