| Abstract: | Summary The activity of plasma membrane alkaline phosphatase and both mitochondrial and peroxisomal histidineglyoxylate aminotransferase was significantly increased in the livers of male rats following treatment with the hypolipidemic drug clofibrate. Cycloheximide or puromycin administration to rats inhibited the effects of clofibrate. |
