摘    要:目的对杨木刨花、纸屑、玉米芯的物理性状、微生物含量及毒性等进行比较,寻找适合作为SPF小鼠垫料的材料。方法通过吸水试验、干燥试验、隔热试验、保温试验、适应性观察、微生物检测、粉末率测定、急性毒性试验、饥饿试验,比较小鼠对3种材料的适合性及安全性。结果 3种垫料吸水性和保湿性较好,差异不显著;保温性和隔热性能玉米芯优于杨木刨花和纸屑;小鼠对3种垫料的适应性均较好;3种垫料对小鼠均无毒性;粉末率玉米芯和纸屑为零;玉米芯中无可维持小鼠生命的营养,优于其他两种垫料。结论玉米芯在所有检测项目中均符合垫料标准,是一种较理想的SPF小鼠垫料。

Abstract:Objective To seek an appropriate material as bedding for specific pathogen free(SPF) mice.Methods The suitability and safety of the three bedding materials,cottonwood shaving,wastepaper,and corncob,were compared by water-sucking test,drying test,thermal insulation test,heat preservation test,adaptability test,microorganism detection test,powder rate test,acute toxicity test and starvation test.Results The water sucking rate and the capability of maintaining humidity of the three beddings were similar and no significant difference.Corncob had the best capability of thermal insulation and heat preservation.All the three beddings were adapted well and had no toxicity to mice.The powder rates of wastepaper and corncob were nearly zero.The starvation test showed that there was no nutrition to mice survival in corncob.Conclusion Corncob has the advantage of the other two materials in all the detections,and is an appropriate bedding material for SPF mice.
