摘    要:徐悲鸿的一生和艺术,总是和中西文化密切相关。从徐悲鸿的创作分期,不难看出,其在中西文化认知程度上和艺术特点上,存在着差异。早期,国画启蒙,临西洋画片,其作品特点是受西画的间接影响,并无纯正西洋味;留学时,国画作品非常少,已具有西画写实技巧;归国后,是徐悲鸿最重要的时期,他力倡用西方写实主义方法改造中国画,正是这种实践,造就了20世纪中国画坛的主流画派;新中国时期,他的艺术又与时代紧密相联,其写实主张与从苏联引进的“社会主义现实主义”并为一体,从而确立了徐悲鸿在中国美术史中的重要地位。

Abstract:Xu Beihong's life and his art are closely associated with Chinese and Western culture. The difference of his recognition on Chinese and Western culture and art characteristics can be reflected in his different composing stages. In his early days, his works was influenced indirectly by Western paintings; when he studied abroad, he had a good command of the realistic skill of Western paintings; after he came back to China, he advocated rebuilding traditional Chinese painting with realism from the West; after the New China was established, his art was closely associated with times, and was combined with socialism realism borrowed from Soviet Union.
