Abstract:Coordinate transformation is widely applied in the wind power converter control system.With the increasing demands of real time,traditional methods can not achieve the requirements.Based on introduction to the principle of CORDIC algorithm,an improved CORDIC algorithm was proposed.In light of the symmetry of trigonometric function,this algorithm achieved a full cycle(-π ~+π) of the trigonometric calculations by pre-processing input angles and post-processing iterated results.It was implemented by 18 pipeline architecture with the characteristic of high translating speed,high precision and fewer logic resources.Based on Quartus II platform,using Verilog Language,the design was realized,which verified the validity and feasibility after synthesized software simulation.
