Birth Concept of Christianity and Birth Imagination of Western Female Writers

From a gender viewpoint, the idea of patriarchy was deeply rooted in the birth concept of Christianity, especially in The Bible, which suppresses women＇ s birth in the following three aspects ： The myth that God created man deprived women of their birth ability ; the reoccurrence of suppressing women＇ s birth in the name of God ; the control of women＇ s birth activities. Based on their body experience, the works of western female writers showed a complementation with the birth concept of Christianity, thus displaying a series of birth imagination with female characteristics.
