| Abstract: | Extensible Markup Language(XML) has its unique technical advantages in standardization of information,uniformity of information,and in information exchange and sharing.This paper gives a brief introduction to the concept of Electronic Medical Record(EMR),the criteria and characteristics of Extensible Markup Language(XML),and the techniques for applying XML for implementation of such aspects of EMR as its structure,oeration,data exchanges and security,with its operation procedure demonstrated. |
