| Abstract: | Triangulation is an important method in B rep because the
convex attributes of triangle make many problems solved more easily. A new triangultion
algorithm for filling arbitrary 2 D planar regions, which is mainly designed for sheet metal CAD
system, is proposed. This algorithm is called Stepping Triangulation Algorithm (STA). An
application example of using STA is given to prove the correctness of this method. |
