摘    要:首先讨论了在开阔海洋环境中对目标的和参数估计问题。再提交了一种搜索宽带模糊函数峰值的高效算法。在噪声环境中,利用最大似然性对宽带模糊函数进行峰值能使算法的性能被进一步改进。由于最大似然时延估计器明最好的误差性能,从这种意义上来说,在同类的时延估计器中,它是一种最优的估计器。这已经被我们用仿真模拟所证实。基于以上两种方法,最后提出了一种高效和最优的目标参数估算算法。

Abstract:This paper discusses the problem of the target identifying and its parameter estimation in an open sea environment. Target parameters are traditionally estimated via the peak search of the wide band ambiguity function, which is a computationally intensive procedure. An efficient algorithm for searching the peak of ambiguity function is proposed in the report. In the presence of noise, the performance of the peak search method can be further improved by using a maximum likelihood (ML) technique in the evaluation of wide band ambiguity function. The maximum likelihood delay estimator is optimal in the sense that it gives the best error performance, which has been demonstrated with simulations. A way of efficient and optimal target parameter estimation is thus proposed in the paper by combining the two methods mentioned above.
