Abstract:There are many kinds of dampers with different structures in engineering practice, and they are widely used in many fields, such as high-rise buildings, bridge engineering, building structures, seismic reconstruction and industrial pipeline vibration resistance. In this paper, the building structure in a certain area of Yunnan Province is taken as the research object. The finite element software ETABS is used to simulate and analyze the building structure in Yunnan Province. The influences of different layout schemes of viscous dampers on the floor response spectra under different ground motions are discussed, and the differences are compared and analyzed. A better layout scheme is chosen from the different layout schemes of viscous dampers to provide a reference for the future viscous dampers in the layout of the building structures. The results show that: when the natural vibration period of the building structure is close to the characteristic period, the floor response spectrum reaches a peak value in this period. Four kinds of layout schemes of viscous dampers are compared and analyzed, and the third layout scheme has a better shock absorption effect.
