| Abstract: | Different opinions on the nature of language and its realizing forms constitute a heating topic in contemporary linguistic field.This paper uncovers mainstream discourse and critical discourse's continuation and disintegration on the attitude to language and its reason, and holds that clarifying the different perspectives is a necessary precondition of knowing language and a better interpretation of their relationship. |
